Jafza-based Brunton Wolf Attributes 300% Growth to Support from Jebel Ali Port & Free Zone
Brunton Wolf Wire Ropes FZCo, a leading manufacturer of steel ropes, has marked 15 successful years at Jebel Ali Free Zone with growth of 300 per cent over the period.
The company hosted a special anniversary event recently attended by Ahmad Al Haddad, Chief Operating Officer, Jafza, and senior officials from both organisations. It attributes its success to the support and world-class integrated logistics it receives from DP World flagship Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone.
Brunton Wolf is a joint venture between Usha Martin Limited, a global leader in wire rope manufacturing, and Gustav Wolf, a leading producer of cord and special application ropes. In 2014, it received an Excellence in Performance Award from DP World in recognition of its achievements.
P K Jain, Group Joint Managing Director, Brunton Wolf Wire Ropes, said: “Brunton Wolf’s association with DP World and Jafza is strong and unique. Our growth of 300 per cent in just 15 years was only possible due to the continuous support we’ve received from DP World.
“Our extensive manufacturing and storage facilities, along with sound logistics due to Jafza’s strategic geographical location and the support of a large efficient port like Jebel Ali, have helped us reach our customers with quick stock availability and faster delivery across the world.
“As an excellent logistics partner, DP World, UAE Region has handled more than 20,000 metric tonnes of materials annually for us. Jebel Ali Port is one of our biggest customers for our steel wire ropes installed in their cranes. Combined with Jafza’s services wehave worked together to make our manufacturing unit a world beater in steel wire rope.”

Brunton Wolf is a joint venture between Usha Martin of India and Gustav Wolf of Germany. Its Jafza manufacturing facility produces steel wire ropes for a wide range of sectors including Oil & Gas, Elevators, Mining, Shipping, Cranes, Dredging, Fishing and Engineering.
DP World’s range of Parks and Zones in Dubai comprise Jafza, Dubai Auto Zone and the National Industries Park. Services include building alliances with investors, advice and updates on sector issues business matching and regulatory support.
